Unwell

brought him to Hospital Serdang last Thursday

doctor unable to confirm on his illness
they took his blood to test

i am happy when i was told that

there's nothing wrong with his eyes

it's just an indication that he's having either

viral infection, many parasite in his body, dehydrated or he's having hot fever

the doctor gave him some medication

as usual, i am having a hard time to feed him with the medicine

today is the 3rd day and he is still having diarrhea

what should i do? admit him? :(

it has been more than a week

but i never get a good glance at it

so i was not sure

last night, at last, i was able to really see it

Hospitalised !!!

last year, Miaw was warded for 9 days in Hospital Serdang
(forced ok discharge)

Missed him too much

i wonder what happened to her

Miau is very jealous everytime i feed them

but i just can't leave them starving & cold in the alley

Blood clogged ?

today, while i was cleaning his mess

i saw blood in his poop

i'm worried if there is sumtin that he ate

or 

he's having internal bleeding 

from the incident recently

erm.. i hope u people dun expect me to show a pic of his poop here too..

Wander cat

since he's been good

i gave him extra credits

i let d room door open tonight while i sleep

so he can wander inside d house

just to cool himself

coz it will be hot again during the day

he seems over joyed

i'm d 1 dat may not hav enuf sleep due to d noises he makes

with big round eyes looking at me when i wake up

well, at least it makes him alive again

even though he's locked indoors

Panas

it has been irresistibly hot lately

pity him

i didn't keep him in the cage as advised by d vet 

but still, he's 'caged' in the room

even when i leave d windows open with fan turned on

i believe it doesn't make any difference

d heat is over whelming

office temperature is warmer nowadays rather than before

i'd tried to be home soon

so i can open d door & turn on d light for him

i make it a habit to wet my hands & run over his body & head 

so to make him feel a bit cooler

i'd stay up late just to let him spend some time at the clothes dryer area

so he can breath outside air & see d stars :)

by d way, his appetite seems better now

i'm glad that i dun hav to worry that he's hungry

i bet some people will be wondering

"big business?"

yeah.. since he can't go out yet

he does it in the room

he is disciplined, i'll just prepare d newspaper

& he just do his thing

he's been a well-behave cat

i'm so proud of him =)

Miaw goes to hospital

time: 7.30 a.m.
destination: University Veterinary Hospital (UVH)


today, we're taking him to the hospital.
my Love accompanied me by driving us there


i have called Klinik Haiwan Jabatan Perkhidmatan Haiwan Negeri Selangor in Shah Alam
they don't perform x-rays and of course no major surgery
whereas Klinik Veterinar UPM in Petaling Jaya has already been closed
i had to be prepared for the worst, since UVH has the facilities that he might need
so better not waste more time and bring him to UVH


it wasn't easy to find the place when there was no signage of UVH
i had to get instructions from the UVH themselves


when we reach there.. 
first i end up in the academic block, then i end up at the Large Animal Clinic,
we had to make a big U-turn to get to Small Animal Clinic


the clinic was new and systematic, dogs & cats clinics were segregated
it was fast too !
i am satisfied !

Miaw was attended by caring Dr. Wirdatul
there were other vets in the consultation room too, they were nice to him and it makes me comfortable


during consultation, the vet asked me if he was being hit by sum1
it sounded like the vet is telling me if i did this to my cat
ouch ! i felt offended. 
in an optimistic manner, i told her my part of story which i have no idea if any1 had hurt him or he fell


he was checked & x-rayed
the radiologist explained to the vet on the x-ray images
there were 2 broken pelvic bone which is still intact & the gud news is that it has not over-rided yet
so no operation needed to put in the plaid
he was given 1 month "cage rest" with 30 days medication

while waiting, there were also indian men who brought their parrot 
it was beautiful with blue & green kalers
next room was customers with dogs
the indian guy was registering it for consultation.. and meanwhile his dog was having big business :p
all of the dogs were large & tall such as Doberman, Rottweiler, German Shepherd..  


UVH costs me RM153.40
i can say it is reasonable if to compare with my past experiences 

Miaw is injured

it was on last saturday, went out for a while

i came home & he was lying inside the house

which is not his normal routine

normally, he is still out during the day, back for lunch & call it a day when it gets dark

i called him to come into the room

he didn't move, he just look at me

when i tried to lift him up, he was moaning in pain

he was not even fully off the floor yet

i got the shocked of my life

i put him down slowly & let him enter the room himself

it was a terrible sight seeing him crawling into the room using his forelegs

he neither eat nor drink anything

lie motionless inside his fav McD breakfast box which is under the bed

for days !!! :(

i checked his body slowly.. 

i was so afraid to have him paralyzed lower down

there was no external injuries though, no fever

he moans when i pressed lower part of his body to the pelvic

i suspected that he has broken or fractured bone

after 2 days, he peed & pooped (which is good news)

checked ! it was normal & no blood. phew !

took a day leave (i think my superior laughs at the idea of taking leave for a cat)

nevertheless, pity him

dun want he ends up paralyzed becoz of my ignorance
well, ignorance is a bliss

strayed new born kitten

my Love saved it from the dark alley of SS14 shops

it was on a cold Friday night in early October last year

its eyes was still closed, miaw-ing with all its might

placed in an empty polystyrene box

pathetic kan !!!

kes pembuangan bayi dah berjangkit.. sheesh !!!

wat a rush it was.. !

i had to leave for outstation the very next day

He took the kitten to the clinic for checkup

& consultation

vet told Him not to put any hope

it might not survive

i was devastated.

well, after a month..

from no hope to -->

active, playful, obedient & mischievous little kitten

Miaw was so adorableeeeeeee

i dun even hav to show it where to poop

cleaning was easy then ^-^

wasn't easy to catch him for a pic too

Early this year, 
after coming back from outstation
i lost Miau I
hav no idea on her where abouts
searched high & low
but to no avail, she was no where to be seen


sadly missed..
